Research

We are interested in mechanics and physics of materials at the nanometer and micrometer scales. In particular, we are interested in using computer simulation and deep learning to help us understand the macroscopic phenomena and properties, often through the venue of microscopic fidelity. In addition to revealing fundamental insight of mechanics and physics of materials at the nanometer and micrometer scales, we are also interested in developing useful theories, models and tools to furthermore accelerate these processes toward engineering applications in the future.

我們研究群對人造或天然材料在奈微米尺度的力學與物理特別有興趣與熱誠，我們專注於使用電腦模擬與人工智慧幫我們瞭解材料在奈微米尺度的力學與物理機制與其衍生的巨觀行為。這些研究充滿了未知性與突破性，因此在研究的過程我們也發展相關理論、模型、工具，希望這些努力加速我們實現未來在工程的應用。
